Lions 1 Christians 0 for Now.

My son was hoping to give me some helpful advise on why Republican Mitt Romney lost. He expressed the erroneous opinion, that if we were more towards the center of the political spectrum more people would have voted for a Republican as President of the United States. So again I have to hear from my own son its the Right Wing Conservatives fault. It’s never the Left Wing Democrat Liberal’s fault for being flat-out dishonest or creating a division between the so-called “rich” and poor. So I wrote him an email explaining my position and here it is.

I know you’d love to have a more “reasonable” Dad, but I’m not. I hate to be a disappointment to you but  I do not agree. The “new america?”  Obama only won by 50% of the votes ( and by winning strategic states with enough electoral votes). The other 50% rejects the left thinking of Obama…he’s definitely not center.  If our votes were switched by location Mitt would be our new President.

Ungodly social policy is what attracts 50% and moral social policy attracts the other 50%.

There is no middle between light and darkness. Even if we had  “fresh inspiring ideas” but still did not approve of abortion, didn’t promise free stuff, did not promote  pro-homo policy we would always lose to liberal lefties or 50% of the country.  Even if we did have a candidate that was lukewarm on these issues or “couched” their  presentation of his ideas like Mitt Romney (who actually was the least radically right, remember he was the Gov. of Massachusetts a far left state)  the least right-wing of all the Republicans in the primaries. Or even someone like John McCain who was as liberal and lukewarm a republican as they come, you would see the Colberts, Stewarts and MSNBCs find other ways to throw them under a bus!

Obama can abandon an embassy to terrorists lie about it and get a pass and even have News programs like 60 minutes hide what he said about it. If America votes their conscience you see where our country’s conscience sits. Some statisticians can be right but at what cost? Jut because his math is right doesn’t make the people right. I can offer additional stats from CU a lefty college  that showed an opposite result. See Here.

I could say the same thing you said that for republicans to be part of a  “new america” they have to come to the center but for the democrats needing to come farther  to the right to be inline with the Constitution of the US and God’s principles. The Political Media Machine of this country is determined to turn us into a “globally” acceptable country with everybody getting what they want whether moral or not and at someone else’s expense.  Look at Greece, Spain today. Obama’s policies will take us the way of those countries and financial condition. BROKE and RIOTING

 

You can now smoke pot in Colorado. I wonder if the Right Wing Christians or the non-christian left voted that in? Certainly reflects Colorado’s general moral condition.

 

It’s a way more complicated and complex an argument to debate so I prefer to boil it down to one simple illustration.

 

For this go-round its:

 Hungry Lions 1  / Outspoken Christians 0

 But this doesn’t make the Christians wrong, just dead…..but only for now!

Government Regulations Screwed Me!

A little more on this issue. There is no special morality to being a centrist but there is to be a conservative. As a political Conservative and not a Republican I am passionate about the founding principles that gave us a LIMITED Judeo Christian based government. Limited government has grown to over-sized government and put us into a $16 trillion debt problem from both parties. I’m for any political candidate that uses his political skill and gravitas to influence the opposing party for the basic principles afore mentioned.This would have to bring us closer to the middle of course but you cannot expect a centrist candidate at this time in our history (McCain) to pull us back to where we came from. Our progressive politicians have driven us further to the left and a European style government (that’s going broke I might add)  and I believe that was not the intention of our Founders. Just demonizing the few corporations that have exploited its employees doesn’t invalidate our free enterprise system with limited governance.

Government regulations destroyed the corporation I worked for, for 16 years, and the company my wife built from scratch and ran for 14 years. The government put 10,000 out of work in my company and 43 from my wife’s. And also put us both out of work. A whole lot of time invested for a future that never materialized due to government regulations.Regulations created as political leverage to “protect” the citizenry from “Big Corporations”. Bull Crap! I was doing just fine before liberal politicians seized power and attempted to tip the scales in their favor by exploiting a disaster for a few lousy votes. I trust my Lord is able to protect me through the change but attempting to praise compromise,which is a word describing something  He never did – put Him on a Cross by the compromisers or liberal/progressive politicians of His day. Help Obama Pack

So early this morning while having fun posting new and exciting facts about the upcoming election on Facebook, my darling sensitive wife made an astounding statement. “Why do we always have to be so hard on Barack Obama?”she says. I leapt off the bed! Are you kidding? My fiery eyed conservative Mississippi wife, all of a sudden, has sympathy for our soon to be ex-president? “Yes,” she says. ” I think we need to consider all the work he’s going to have to go through packing all his stuff to move out in January; so we need to help him.” Help him! I cried. So how do you suppose we help him move out? Well, she said. “Do you remember how difficult it was finding enough boxes in good shape to put all our stuff in last time we moved?” Yes, I said, as the memory of loading all those boxes from grocery stores in the back of our car day after day; just hoping we had found enough for our move, came flooding back to my mind. We had accumulated a lot of stuff. Well, she said. I think it would be the right thing for us to consider how much stuff our soon to be ex-president has accumulated over the last four years and we need to help him with the boxes. Wow….you have a point there I said. Why don’t we just create a website with some simple instructions on how all of our friends and like-minded conservatives can give Michelle and Barack a hand.

Saving my Family from Barack Obama

Today my son was kind enough to share an Obama political cartoon and asked me what I thought. So I answered his question as best I could. Just read below.

Half truths and distortions. A well done propaganda piece appealing with a cartoon to those who are easily fooled by a well produced and scripted ad. If I had never studied US or World history I think I would be fooled as well. Most people are too busy to take the time to worry about the accuracy of his statements. If I thought you were interested I guess I could go point by point and provide clarity to the claims and show the distortions.


But just think about these few facts which is counter to the ad’s overall argument.

1. The US constitution declares that personal rights and states’ rights are protected FROM the Federal Government.

Why? Because we started and won a Revolutionary war to deliver us from the Federal Government of England. We do not want a King at the federal level. Our great country and its economy and prosperity is driven and grown by the “Rich” who create jobs and got there through hard work innovation and a free enterprise economy (capitalism) not the middle class. Just tell me, how many jobs have you given anyone versus Steve Jobs? Obama is trying to create a great divide between the races and classes. Income taxes versus sales taxes are relatively new and were mostly increased due to the cost of wars.

2. The federal government is not self-sustaining…it “takes” all its money; but from only 1/2 of americans who work to build businesses, hire and pay people (the middle class). Of these business entrepreneurs 60% of all federal tax is paid by the so-called “rich” or top 5% (or most successful) of the income earners in this country. So out of all the people paying taxes who do you think really deserves to pay a little more or a little less?

This fact alone should tell you the cartoon is a big fat lie. Remember all the money you earn is YOURS per our constitution not the government’s. Remember we are a FREE people and Freedom means just that.

3. So in simple terms. Take your family. Let’s say you tell Ian and Gavin they need to pay you 10% of all the money they earn. So Ian,wanting to buy a bike and being the brilliant entrepreneur has an idea. He’s going to sell lemonade out front. So he works very hard to build a lemonade stand. He sits at it all day in the hot sun and takes in $10 the first day. Gavin on the other hand sees Ian’s success but doesn’t want to take the risk of going to all that work to build his own stand so instead goes to Ian and asks him if he could work for Ian instead. Ian thinks it’s a good idea to maybe stay open longer and bring in more money. He agrees to pay Gavin $3 a day. Of course with hiring Gavin he expects to make more than $10 and pay Gavin from the profits above that. So after a week Ian earns $10 the first day, $13 the second, $20 the 3rd and levels off at $20 the forth for a total of $63. Out of that Ian pays for the lemonade mix, and the materials used to build the stand and then pays Gavin his $12 for the week. Ian is left $41 dollars.

Now I ask you:

a. how much money would Gavin have made if Ian didn’t build the stand?

b. since  Gavin made $12 what gives you the right (OBAMA) to say that since he earned 30% less income than Ian he now does not have to pay you the 10% or $1.20 you said he was supposed too?

c. and to compensate for the loss in revenue, you make Ian pick up that $1.20 and pay $5.30 or 13% ( after deductions) and then you create a windfall profits tax of another 2%  for the money Ian made over the original $10 a day for a total tax of almost $6.00 because you see Ian’s making a lot more money than he projected rather than the $4.10 or 10% you originally said.

 

Final question. How enthusiastic is Ian going to be to take more risk, put in more energy to get cheated out of his hard-earned money. Where is Gavin going to work? And if Ian does chose to just not redo the lemonade stand to earn the money to buy the bike but instead goes to you for a bike (Obama phone, welfare, food stamps) guess what that does to your families economy? You might have to put Mama to work to pay for bikes and things, for those who won’t?  But of course you’ll then make more money and your darling federal government will take more of your money as well to pay for the services they give to others to get their vote so you can put them back into office, remain dependent on them and then they OWN you and you are no longer FREE…but according to the cartoon it’s all the rich guys fault. Paleeeezzzzzz!!!

 

So what’s your incentive to build your business bigger? Higher taxes or lower taxes as an incentive? Is your incentive the bigger you get the more they take?

 

If I had the resources and talent I’d make my own freaking brainless cartoon.

SPECTRUM of OBAMA VOTERS

  1. Neurotic white-guilt liberals.
  2. Pure unadulterated RACISTS voting based on skin color alone.
  3. People living in a bubble of their own creation, caring about 1-2 marginal issues, while ignoring ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ELSE (aka the Sandra Fluke crowd).
  4. The “Fox News is Biased” crowd. Same folks who accuse you of being “brainwashed” by “right wing propaganda” (i.e. facts), all while gobbling up every word/spin that comes out of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC etc. AKA the “oblivious to irony” crowd. (often times fall under category #1 as well).
  5. The Obama-Phone crowd (aka Lazy-ass welfare leeches & guttersnipes).
  6. Highly impressionable college kids (aka the young & stupid crowd).
  7. The Blame Bush AKA Obama can do no wrong AKA Total Waste of Space AKA Threat to the human gene-pool crowd . To watch them in action is to marvel at the epitome of self-denial and stupidity. Tell them any fact about Obama that is negative and watch the denial/spin machine in action, with the end result being always the same: Bush did it!
  8.  The stereotype-autopilot crowd. We’ve all encountered them… you say “Republicans” they reply with “RACISTS, REDNECKS, HOMOPHOBIC, HATEFUL, FOX NEWS” etc. No amount of reasoning outside the scope of their engrained stereotypes is possible. AKA the miniscule-intellect crowd. (Also often times fall under category #1).

The more obvious ones…

9. Communists/Socialists.
10. Radical Muslims.
11. Radical Gays.
12. Enemies of America (although technically they don’t get to vote).
13. Illegal aliens.
14. The dead.

Three days after the bloody 9/11 siege on our consulate in Benghazi, the Taliban waged an intricately coordinated, brutal attack on Camp Bastion in Afghanistan. The murderous jihadists released video exactly one month ago this week showing off their training exercises in preparation for the assault. Where are the questions?

Where’s the accountability? Where’s the Obama administration? Where’s the press? Where’s the outrage?

Two heroic U.S. Marines were killed in the battle. Their names — Lt. Col. Christopher Raible and Sgt. Bradley Atwell – have not been uttered publicly by the commander in chief. Their arrival back in the U.S., in flag-draped coffins, was not broadcast on network TV. But their brothers-in-arms did not and will not forget. And neither must we.

On September 20, John Gresham of the Defense Media Network wrote a scathing detailed breakdown of this little-noticed terrorist attack on our troops. He called it “arguably the worst day in USMC aviation history since the Tet Offensive of 1968.” Eight irreplaceable aircraft were destroyed or put out of action by Taliban warriors dressed in U.S. combat fatigues — amounting to “approximately 7 percent of the total flying USMC Harrier fleet,” Gresham reported.

His summary is bone chilling: “A Harrier squadron commander is dead, along with another Marine. Another nine personnel have been wounded, and the nearby Marines at Camp Freedom are now without effective fixed-wing air support. The USMC’s response to this disaster will be a telling report card on its leadership and organizational agility.”

On September 21, the left-leaning magazine The Atlantic published an article on the Camp Bastion attack titled “The U.S. Suffered Its Worst Airpower Loss Since Vietnam Last Week and No One Really Noticed.” A few right-leaning blogs raised troubling questions about preparedness and security.

“How did this band of radicals even manage to approach a highly advanced multi-national military base without being detected, much less force their way inside en masse?” asked Kim Zigfeld of the American Thinker. “How were they able to attack so quickly and efficiently that, even though nearly every one of them was killed in the effort, they were able to harm the mighty leathernecks more than they had been in half a century?”

National Review’s Jonathan Foreman wondered whether Pakistan was behind the attack. “It seems likely that the special forces of a professional army planned the raid, and trained, advised and led the raiders — that is if they did not actually take part in it. Those special forces would, of course, be those of Pakistan,” Foreman posited. “This may sound shocking, but it would hardly be the first time that Pakistani special forces have operated in Afghanistan on behalf of Islamabad’s allies and proxies.”

President Obama has referred callously to the murders of our civilian diplomatic staff in Benghazi as “bumps in the road.” Even more maddening, though, is the radio silence from the White House about what happened that day at Camp Bastion — and what, if anything, Obama’s Pentagon did between the last major attack on Bastion in March and the bloody siege in September.

Somehow, a band of 15 insurgents managed to penetrate the wire with assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades and other weapons on 9/14. Their destruction was of historic proportions. The attack came six months after U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was the target of a failed suicide attack attempt at Bastion. The (UK) Sun reported at the time that an Afghani was believed to have made the deliberate attempt on Panetta after “he broke through defenses and drove a vehicle towards his aircraft. He then went past the perimeter surrounded by armed security and large concrete block guards. Disaster was only averted when the truck caught fire and crashed into a ditch on the runway close to where Mr. Panetta’s jet had landed or was set to land.”

Team Obama mocks GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney with snarky lines about bayonets and binders. The thin-skinned commander in chief exploits Seal Team Six to burnish his “leadership” cred. And the president’s campaign surrogates have ceaselessly attacked their critics as “unpatriotic” for questioning this administration’s commitment to national security.

But silence is complicity. The questions must be asked: Did politically correct rules of engagement hamper our troops’ defenses? Who knew what and when? Who was behind the attackers? And what is being done to ensure our front-line defenders of freedom are able to defend themselves?

Are Americans Just Stupid?

The only reason I can imagine that people in this country would even think to give Obama a break is because they believe things crashed so hard when he got in he just couldn’t fix the problem. But if ever there was a wrong man for a job at the worst time in our history it was the inexperienced Obama. A man who came into running this country at its weakest time in 80 years. With absolutely no experience in business or governing but with policies designed to make our country into a socialist experiment that he had been studying and teaching his entire adult life.

I pray that the libs who voted for him 4 years ago understand our country cannot bear the weight of his continued experimentation both domestically and with foreign policy. It is costing us American lives. So as in every election year there is always the absolute bottom line.

Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago? Forget feeling sorry for the manipulating View wuss just because he’s black, clever, charismatic or took on too much or that he supposedly tried. Think about the millions upon millions of families that are suffering. Fathers and mothers crying because they can’t pay their light bill, or hearing their children complain of eating beans and rice or having their home for 20 years repossessed  just  because Barack Obama  failed to make things better using his communist father’s vision.

So I ask you, when your favorite football team has a 0 – 16 season every year for 4 years do you expect the owner of the team to feel sorry for the management team? Do you violently and with visceral hatred and profanity  defend the owners right to give that group of people 4 more years because they tried real hard? or do you expect that owner to fire the losing coach?….Well you are the owner of this American team and its your job to fire the losing coach Barack Obama. Wake up america.

Time to Hire and Fire

So what are the expectations now that Mitt Romney is the Republican nominee?  Some are concerned because he is a Mormon and not an Evangelical Christian; but he’s a faithful Mormon. Should that matter? We see him as a devoted family man with a big family. Obviously not concerned about birth control. We see him as a successful business man. But how did he create his success?  So what should our expectations be? How do we wrap our brains around the kind of leader this man would be? It should be obvious. Or is it.

Too many American expectations are defined by the liberal media and  in a completely different way than conservatives think. After Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech you heard Tom Brokaw, a liberal news caster say in a demonizing tone, how Romney’s Dad worked so hard to be a moderate and that Mitt is taking his party in a more conservative direction, is that fair?   They try and define him with a negative slant as a candidate that will take us backwards, as though going back to a time when our nation’s economy prospered and its values honored Godly principles were a bad thing. The Democrats will say he’s leading a war on women, while they  pass laws forcing us to pay for abortions and depriving  us our religious freedom. All this demagoguery while at the same time bragging that Bill Clinton, the country’s most infamous misogynist, is the DNC convention keynote speaker. Lies are being told about how Mitt Romney caused people to lose thier job and even caused their death. We have to do our own research and focus on what really matters. The successful leadership of a country and a society losing its unique place in the world and its people losing hope in the american dream.

If you are an american citizen you are an owner of this country. And as an owner you are in charge of hiring and firing those who lead us. If you are going to hire a president than you must understand what the job calls for, then look at his qualifications, his resume. The resume should detail his experience and results from other work he’s done. If you are a responsible manager or company owner you will know that puting this person in charge will effect every one in the country. So this becomes a very serious decision. What will you do? You may call his former employers and also contact any references he may give you. I say we have two distinct candidates that want the job. And you have to make this decision not only for yourself but also for the rest of us. So here’s the list of work history. Next time I’ll post a list of personal references. I’m sure you can’t wait to see them!

$716 billion dollars

So all you need to do is multiply the above picture by 716 and you will understand what Obama, with the help of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, appropriated from Medicare, with the sole purpose of subsidizing his Obama-care bill. Think about this fact for a few minutes. Here is a man who has lied, manipulated and destroyed others in his pursuit of power and a legacy (see  http://youtu.be/eAaQNACwaLw). His one and only signature legislation, that he himself did not write, that controls one sixth of the American economy needed funding. So where does he get it? He steals it from the elderly who have paid into the medicare retirement health-care system their entire lives.

And why? In order to boast of some magnificent achievement. Obama is a smoke and mirrors person. He is as shallow as any human being can be. He lives off his gravitas and bravado, that’s all. Even his Nobel Prize does nothing but destroy the credibility of the award. Since when is the Nobel Peace Prize nothing more but a popularity contest? Obama has no major achievements of value or character. Stand him up against Nobel Peace Prize winners who have done great things for others at any level. Compare him to  see if you can find anything he’s done that does not smell of corruption or graft (Americans have forgotten how real and serious government corruption is, they’ve grown to accept it).

So if you’re looking for a glory hungry wanna be as your leader – vote for Obama in November. But if you have a different vision for who we are as a country and want to turn Washington on its face with honesty and integrity at the helm….

Vote for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
