“Making Choices in Society”

koolaidBarack Obama spoke in San Diego California to a group in support of his failing health care plan. He made a clumsy script-less  attempt before an aid finally produced a prepared speech. After which he was asked questions regarding the recent privacy scandals in which he answered:

“Trust me, we’re doing the right thing. We know who the bad guys are.” (Which means)

“I think the American people understand that there are some trade-offs involved,” (Which means)

“We’re going to have to make some choices as a society. (Which means)

“It’s important to recognize that you can’t have 100 percent security and also then have 100 percent privacy and zero inconvenience,”  (Which means)

I don’t like the choices that Obama says we have to make for security in our country. He is using a real threat against us to undermine our Constitutional government  Also, most media sources do not even report his unconstitutional posturing. The links I’ve connected to above are mostly from conservative sources because Google doesn’t even show a monolithic main stream media source for any of these proven facts.

I don’t believe our enemies deserve the privileges of an American Constitution that they don’t respect. I choose that we go after muslims that will not pledge allegiance to the United States of America and one nation under one God. We are a Christian nation not a muslim or Islam nation. All other faiths are welcome to freely express their beliefs but they will not control or influence our American culture. The sooner we promote that and start profiling those who are responsible for terror the sooner we can get on with the American way and the Constitutional protections established by our founding fathers.

Holder Justice Department Says It Will Help Enforce Islamic Sharia Law

DOJ: Social Media Posts Trashing Muslims May Violate Civil Rights

In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights.

[Ed.: Apparently the DOJ needs to read the Bill of Rights again and, in particular, the First Amendment.]

The move comes a few years after the administration became the first in history to dispatch a U.S. Attorney General to personally reassure Muslims that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is dedicated to protecting them. In the unprecedented event, Attorney General Eric Holder assured a San Francisco-based organization (Muslim Advocates) that urges members not to cooperate in federal terrorism investigations that the “us versus them” environment created by the U.S. government, law enforcement agents and fellow citizens is unacceptable and inconsistent with what America is all about.

…Evidently that was a precursor of sorts for an upcoming Tennessee event (“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society”) that will feature the region’s top DOJ official [Bill Killian], who serves as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and an FBI representative. The goal is to increase awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles, according to a local newspaper report. The June 4 powwow is sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee.

The area’s top federal prosecutor, Bill Killian, will address a topic that most Americans are likely unfamiliar with, even those well versed on the Constitution; that federal civil rights laws can actually be violated by those who post inflammatory documents aimed at Muslims on social media. “This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian says in the local news story. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”

…Over the years the Obama administration has embarked on a fervent crusade to befriend Muslims by creating a variety of outreach programs at a number of key federal agencies. For instance the nation’s Homeland Security covertly met with a group of extremist Arab, Muslim and Sikh organizations to discuss national security matters and the State Department sent a controversial, anti-America Imam (Feisal Abdul Rauf) to the Middle East to foster greater understanding and outreach among Muslim majority communities.

The Obama Administration has also hired a special Homeland Security adviser (Mohamed Elibiary) who openly supports a radical Islamist theologian and renowned jihadist ideologue and a special Islam envoy that condemns U.S. prosecutions of terrorists as “politically motivated persecutions” and has close ties to radical extremist groups.

The president has even ordered the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to shift its mission from space exploration to Muslim diplomacy and the government started a special service that delivers halal meals, prepared according to Islamic law, to home-bound seniors in Detroit. [And who] could forget Hillary Clinton’s special order allowing the reentry of two radical Islamic academics whose terrorist ties have long banned them from the U.S.?

In other words, criticizing Islamofascism — the political strain of Islam — could very well be criminalized by the Obama-Holder administration. The Islamist term for this crime is “Blasphemy”, which may include one or more of the following:
– speaking ill of Allah
– finding fault with Muhammad
– speculating about how Muhammad would behave if he were alive
– drawing a picture to represent Muhammad
– whistling during prayers
– flouting the rules prescribed for Ramadan
– reciting Muslim prayers in a language other than Arabic
– consuming alcohol
– gambling
– being alone with persons of the opposite sex who are not blood relatives
– finding amusement in Islamic customs
– publishing an unofficial translation of the Qur’an
– practicing yoga
– watching a film or listening to music
– wearing make-up on television
– insulting religious scholarship
– wearing the clothing of Jews or of Zoroastrians
– participating in non-Islamic religious festivals
– converting from Islam to Christianity

This crime is, in many cases, punishable by death.

In other words, you are no longer living in America.

The “American Way of Life” – R.I.P. 2013

bhohomoDoes the title sound dismal and fatalistic to you? Well, if you are the average non political or “progressive” minded American you most likely refuse to have this view of your country because it reflects abysmally on a society you very well accept. But the truth is that we have degenerated shamefully. You of course see it if your frame of reference is the America we’ve known and understood until only a few years ago. You must remember! The society where babies were considered sacred and precious; not lumps of unwanted flesh. A country where perverts were ashamed to be found out!  But then, if persistent in their behavior – tarred and feathered – but certainly not openly paraded through the streets with “pride”. Back when our Christian God and the Ten Commandments were honored and posted in courts; not torn down and taken to court. An America where in society, being a “hood” or hoodlum was frowned upon and certainly not purported as a mainstream popular idol. PPGirlSCoutsLogo Unfortunately, average liberal Americans review this decent into depravity as moral evolution or even worse, intellectual superiority. Well, one day, the stink from our current societal debauchery, will erupt like a volcano. The molten slime that pours out will destroy everything traditionally American in its path. Those left unscathed will only be the compromising sycophantic hypocrites that have lived the lie that brought our great country down and will have to settle for living in a world without love, faith, hope or justice but most of all a world without the true American Way of Life. So Where’s He Been?

Growing in Christ isn’t easy for anyone, especially me. I so need to feel I’m seeing things the way they really are. It’s all about having a flexible perspective.  Jesus is regularly moving his children from one view of life to another; closer and closer to His world view. We are totally blind to what we don’t know and when God opens our eyes, through what we feel are very uncomfortable life situations, we are eventually grateful. But, until then, our comfort zones and opinions of  “how things are” get rattled! And I don’t enjoy it!

So here I am after a 4 month pity party from “post-election” blues. Four months of wandering and wondering what our world is coming to. I must apologize to my faithful followers for letting life get the best of me. I have had enough creative strength to be pithy on Facebook but I am without excuse for letting my circumstances overwhelm my Christian American Opinion entry.

I’ve been missing in action.

SORRY!

So lets pick up where we left off. What all’s been happening in the world in the past four months (ONLY FOUR MONTHS!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ONLY BEEN 4 MONTHS!!!!)

  1. Obama gets inaugurated
  2. Pope Benedict XVI resigns
  3. Terrorists attack our embassy in Benghazi, torture and murder our Ambassador
  4. Congress holds hearing on the Administrations cover-up Whistleblowers threatened by Hilary’s department. More Whistleblowers coming forward.
  5. The IRS is discovered to have made a target list of conservative groups seeking 501 (c) (4) tax exempt status and held them up prior to the election and covered it up!
  6. The DOJ violates the AP news and FOX news organizations First Amendment rights through illegally wiretapping. The DOJ covered it up!

Six months into the Obama administration and this President has made President Nixon‘s Watergate look as though Nixon was impeached because of an unpaid parking ticket!

Well, that’s all for now. I don’t want to get in the weeds on a Sunday. I just need to announce that I’m not missing anymore and plan to stay on top of A Christian American Opinion from now on. Once a week to start but more frequently as either my blood begins to boil or my Lord Jesus Christ opens my eyes to something I never saw before and think you might be interested in seeing it as well!

What Ever Happened to the WHOPPER?

So yesterday I developed an irresistible urge for a quick hot juicy burger. Coincidently I was at that very moment driving right toward the entrance of a drive through…Burger King – Home of the all American WHOPPER! As I spun my wheels sharply to the right so not to miss the driveway the saliva began to flow. I’m not kidding, I was drooling. All I could think about was that quarter pound flame broiled ground beef sandwich stacked with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles with mayo mustard and catsup. Back in 1971 it was so wide and thick I could hardly hold it with one hand. I usually had it cut in half just to facilitate its polite inoffensive consumption. Remember the slogan “It takes two hands to handle the Whopper”?

whopperAs I perused the outdoor menu, crowded with more choices than I coud ever imagine at a burger joint, there it was…the WHOPPER! But the options had changed a little. My choice was either a single, double or triple. TRIPLE? Who could ever consume a sandwich that was not only too big to hold with one hand but with 3 huge patties stacked between those two plate size buns? Well, to each his own. “I’ll take a regular Whopper and a medium coke,”I told the speaker phone outside my driver side window. I could not wait to dig into that luscious piece of heaven. I took the bag from the pimple faced kid and drove to the first open parking spot I could find. I reached in – pulled out the paper wrapped bit of nostalgia that so affected my glands – but what did I see? A drooping soggy sloppy keizer roll the size of my wife’s hand. Nothing at all like what I had remembered from back in the day. I thought, “what ever happened to the whopper”? 

So this burger, like everything else wonderful in our lives, we want to experience again in the same way we remember it, fails to meet our expectations! “The good ole days” will never be again. So hang it up, enjoy what you have in the now and stop wondering what ever happened to the Whopper!

Cheap Grace?

The great thing about Facebook is you meet some of the most interesting people. Friends of friends of friends. For me, the most fascinating aspect is you have the chance to engage in political as well as theological discussions with people you may never have the opportunity to engage in real life circles of friends.

This weekend was one of those times. I found myself participating in a string of comments in response to the parody of Thanksgiving‘s Black Friday and the Friday during Easter week when Jesus Christ was crucified. The post declared that the Crucifixion was the most Amazing Free Gift ever offered.

In response to this discussion an agnostic chimed in with a rebuttal to the fact that Eternal Life was free, and that he understood that to be a Christian one must surrender his life and that by no means is free.

This then caused a barrage of comments from others, including myself, in an attempt to explain God’s free gift to the agnostic. After several failed attempts it was finally agreed to let him die in his sins if that is what he insisted on doing. This then soon unveiled that one of our defenders happened to be an antagonist of Grace being the sole path to Christ and eternal life. He was strongly opposed to the idea that a person is saved through Grace alone and appealed to his interpretation of scripture as a defense for human works being an integral element to receiving eternal life. He said he had been a preacher for over 30 years and would never subscribe to the idea of CHEAP GRACE.

How can a Christian say they understand who Christ is, the creator of everything, His love for mankind, His sacrifice and suffering, then refer to it as CHEAP?

I refer to the picture above. There is nothing cheap about the Grace (the unmerited favor) God offers us through Christ. He paid an eternal price for every sin of mankind, from Adam’s to those committed by every person in human history, now and until the end of time. That’s the extent of His value to God the Father. To think that a mere imperfect human being could have anything else worth contributing to a perfect Holy God is abhorrent to my very soul. The arrogant pride of man and his belief that he can somehow validate or invalidate Christ’s sacrifice never ceases to amaze me.

If you are an agnostic or a misinformed Christian, please try to understand this. The Gift God offers to all people is not cheap. It’s not cheap or incomplete in any way because it cost Him everything. The price of forgiveness for man’s sin was very high and paid through the death of a man whose existence is priceless, God’s only Son.The gift He offers every human being is Eternal Life by simply accepting through faith that His suffering and death is completely sufficient as full payment for your sin. Anything more than that is not Grace so please don’t refer to God’s gift of unmerited favor He calls Grace as CHEAP!

The Barrage of Recalcitrant RINOS

I’m not blogging very much these days since the election. I’m working through the spiritual manifestation of evil that got the hugest pass in American history. But, in the meantime, my wonderfully talented son, who lives in Colorado is barraged by so called reasonable republicans who are mad because we lost due to the Republican Party’s Platform and how our lack of spin and parsing of our position has scared too many votes off. I regret sharing this vile link (to the blogger http://tinyurl.com/arq9arw ) that my son’s friend shared with him. But you may need it for perspective. My son shares it with me looking for his Dad’s opinion. Well, below I share my opinion. I hope it not only grabs my son’s attention but many others being attacked by the recalcitrant RINOS.

This guy is from Vermont – a flaming liberal, just read his language. Please do not get fooled by his warped Godless logic. You have to put the US Constitution and Christian Biblical doctrine in the equation which this idiot doesn’t. For me to start going point by point is a total waste of your’s and my time. Right him and the blog off

Did you know how the Secret Service is taught how to recognize a counterfeit $100 bill?  Well I’ll skip to the chase and tell you straight out – it’s not by studying counterfeit bills its by studying an authentic $100 bill so much they can tell a counterfeit practically by touch.

My advise to you is spend some time studying the Constitution of the United States and the Bible doctrines that apply to the principles that founded our country. That way, when you see garbage like this, cloaked in reason, you can simply hit the delete button. The wolves are out to get you, don’t forget that.

You can just tell your friend you don’t think you’re ready for a political or philosophical discussion until you are more boned up on the Biblical and US Constitutional facts.

We are not a country that was created by a bunch of fools whose logic was based on race, sex and economic conditions. Liberty goes far beyond the spin on the left, as a matter of fact if it wasn’t for the thousands of men who died to preserve our liberty this idiot wouldn’t even have the right to speak his misguided mind. Its not about Party its about values. And if our country’s values have sunk so low that we must appeal to the sexual perverts, baby killers, vote buyers and race baiters or those sympathetic to them we are on the way to losing what America stands for. Jesus Christ spoke the truth and did not put any spin on it to attract a lot of votes…the differences are beyond logic and reason, they are spiritual in nature.
