Democratic God of Obama – His God-zilla Size Incompetence

The only God in the Democratic Party other than the god that our enemies worship is the Godzilla sized lies and incompetence that is so apparent every day from the top down.

So now we hear about yet another scandal that proves Obama’s Godzilla sized incompetence.

The VA has been mismanaged for quite a while. Even before his election in 2008 Obama campaigned on the need to change things at the VA. Well things have really changed since he’s been elected. His administration gives bonuses to those who allow 100s our soldiers to die. And when this is discovered he does nothing more than give the VA director what amounts to a time out!

“Obamacare will provide inexpensive healthcare to 30 million Americans that don’t have insurance”.  “You can keep your doctor”.  “You keep your plan if you like it”. “Your premiums will go down!” All blatant lies known to be untrue at every speech Obama made from his first day in office.

The IRS is directed by Obama’s administration to intimidate conservative groups prior to his reelection campaign and when they are found out he goes on television during the Superbowl and smugly lies by declaring there is not a smidgen of corruption.

Obama arms our enemies in Libya and then allows the murder of 4 Americans in order to cover it up and his Secretary of State declares “what difference does it make?”

Democrats used to be an honorable party but when I watched their convention in 2012 and saw them indignantly vote to have GOD removed from their platform it became disappointedly obvious that everyone that remained in this decrepit party decided to stay because it truly represents who they are. A godless power-hungry group of fascists that want nothing more but to destroy the Constitution that protects us from the likes of them.

The evil we face today is more powerful than in days past. The vile rant of those on the left that  Bush and Cheney are war mongers for the sake of oil are so blind to the truth that the facts never seem to matter. Where’s the oil?

Then we have  feminist liberals wholesale slaughter of babies in the womb for profit and if their murderous spirits can’t kill babies they take their guns to gun free zones and slaughter innocents there. And what is the response from their liberal cohorts? Take away guns from the Godly and Law abiding. Brilliant!

Now how sick is that?

When challenged all they can do,  going to historical moments, blame a Republican that did something counter to what Conservatives are vocalizing today; in someway using that to justifying their position.. They will never admit they are wrong.  All they do is obfuscate divert attention from themselves and blame Bush. Now how ridiculous is that?

So if you consider yourself a Democrat because your parents or grandparents were democrat, stop listening to the liberal pundits rant against the Tea Party and Conservatives from the leftist media and spend some time alone considering what is the meaning of right and wrong. Consider what the values are that really matter in your daily world.  Then find someone who claims to be affiliated with the Tea Party movement or just claims to be a Conservative and ask them what they value in life. If you are still persuaded that being aligned with the Democrat party is what you want, than you deserve the Godless future of Godzilla sized destruction you get. But if you are moved by the basic values that it appears you both share…welcome to the Godly world of the Conservative movement.

Sunday’s a Commin’

Only fools believe government to be benevolent. Only Christ is benevolent and a government that protects the inalienable rights of its citizens acts on the behalf of Jesus Christ. So was, for this purpose, our constitution written. The fools who declare our constitution archaic and out of date have no honest appreciation for the Liberty and Freedom and Christlike living it is designed to protect. It was not designed to protect godless atheism or a tyrannical Federal government. It was designed to protect us from such things by providing for the FREE exercise of our religious freedom and the pursuit of our own personal happiness.

The abuses over the past 50 years have given a permissive society an excuse to decry the value provided by our sacred constitution. Yes I said sacred. Not ordained or inspired by Christ as the Bible but by the Godly wisdom and principle of Christlike men who sacrificed all they had for the principles penned within. To mock or belittle its tenets is disrespect of the highest degree and one must ignore the millions of lives that have been either lost or impacted in its defence. In everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you and remember…..

I Was A Stranger And You Took Me In

“Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset hates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lighting, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she

With silent lips.

“Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

With all this immigration reform chatter I’m very suspicious of a new website and video that is being sent around by many evangelical spokes persons including some one I’ve always admired Max Lucado. The website and video are at http://www.salemoffers.com/campaign/i-was-a-stranger/rc/swnnewsletters. It’s title is “I was a stranger”. This message wants to seem benign as it asks for Evangelicals to take 40 days to pray for God’s will regarding “immigration”. The directive is for 4 separate “Challenges” to yourself, your campus, your church and legislators. They have a 17 page toolkit to walk these 4 groups through the marketing process (my word). The reason I’m suspect is because it is only on page 17 of the toolkit that you find this statement of purpose,

As evangelical Christian leaders, we call for a bipartisan solution on immigration that:

  •  Respects the God-given dignity of every person 
  •  Protects the unity of the immediate family 
  •  Respects the rule of law 
  •  Guarantees secure national borders 
  •  Ensures fairness to taxpayers 
  •  Establishes a path toward legal status and/or citizenship for those who qualify and who wish to become permanent residents 

We urge our nation’s leaders to work together with the American people to pass immigration reform that embodies these key principles and that will make our nation proud.

I never in all my life, and as the grandson of Italian immigrants, thought for one moment that America is not an immigration friendly country. It is only because of the illegal lawless immigration problem we have been experiencing for the past 40 years created by the political class for a number of illicit reasons, that immigration has become a polarizing issue. The lies being told by the Democrats regarding the Conservatives who have been fighting to protect our borders has misinformed the american people and seems to have influenced the more liberal arm of the Cristian community. The issue IS NOT ABOUT IMMIGRATION! The issue is about LEGAL immigration and the lawlessness of the Federal Government in their pursuit of political power over the states and every other branch of government.

Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing and the subtle little foxes. Just sayin.

So Where’s He Been?

Growing in Christ isn’t easy for anyone, especially me. I so need to feel I’m seeing things the way they really are. It’s all about having a flexible perspective.  Jesus is regularly moving his children from one view of life to another; closer and closer to His world view. We are totally blind to what we don’t know and when God opens our eyes, through what we feel are very uncomfortable life situations, we are eventually grateful. But, until then, our comfort zones and opinions of  “how things are” get rattled! And I don’t enjoy it!

So here I am after a 4 month pity party from “post-election” blues. Four months of wandering and wondering what our world is coming to. I must apologize to my faithful followers for letting life get the best of me. I have had enough creative strength to be pithy on Facebook but I am without excuse for letting my circumstances overwhelm my Christian American Opinion entry.

I’ve been missing in action.

SORRY!

So lets pick up where we left off. What all’s been happening in the world in the past four months (ONLY FOUR MONTHS!!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ONLY BEEN 4 MONTHS!!!!)

  1. Obama gets inaugurated
  2. Pope Benedict XVI resigns
  3. Terrorists attack our embassy in Benghazi, torture and murder our Ambassador
  4. Congress holds hearing on the Administrations cover-up Whistleblowers threatened by Hilary’s department. More Whistleblowers coming forward.
  5. The IRS is discovered to have made a target list of conservative groups seeking 501 (c) (4) tax exempt status and held them up prior to the election and covered it up!
  6. The DOJ violates the AP news and FOX news organizations First Amendment rights through illegally wiretapping. The DOJ covered it up!

Six months into the Obama administration and this President has made President Nixon‘s Watergate look as though Nixon was impeached because of an unpaid parking ticket!

Well, that’s all for now. I don’t want to get in the weeds on a Sunday. I just need to announce that I’m not missing anymore and plan to stay on top of A Christian American Opinion from now on. Once a week to start but more frequently as either my blood begins to boil or my Lord Jesus Christ opens my eyes to something I never saw before and think you might be interested in seeing it as well!

Cheap Grace?

The great thing about Facebook is you meet some of the most interesting people. Friends of friends of friends. For me, the most fascinating aspect is you have the chance to engage in political as well as theological discussions with people you may never have the opportunity to engage in real life circles of friends.

This weekend was one of those times. I found myself participating in a string of comments in response to the parody of Thanksgiving‘s Black Friday and the Friday during Easter week when Jesus Christ was crucified. The post declared that the Crucifixion was the most Amazing Free Gift ever offered.

In response to this discussion an agnostic chimed in with a rebuttal to the fact that Eternal Life was free, and that he understood that to be a Christian one must surrender his life and that by no means is free.

This then caused a barrage of comments from others, including myself, in an attempt to explain God’s free gift to the agnostic. After several failed attempts it was finally agreed to let him die in his sins if that is what he insisted on doing. This then soon unveiled that one of our defenders happened to be an antagonist of Grace being the sole path to Christ and eternal life. He was strongly opposed to the idea that a person is saved through Grace alone and appealed to his interpretation of scripture as a defense for human works being an integral element to receiving eternal life. He said he had been a preacher for over 30 years and would never subscribe to the idea of CHEAP GRACE.

How can a Christian say they understand who Christ is, the creator of everything, His love for mankind, His sacrifice and suffering, then refer to it as CHEAP?

I refer to the picture above. There is nothing cheap about the Grace (the unmerited favor) God offers us through Christ. He paid an eternal price for every sin of mankind, from Adam’s to those committed by every person in human history, now and until the end of time. That’s the extent of His value to God the Father. To think that a mere imperfect human being could have anything else worth contributing to a perfect Holy God is abhorrent to my very soul. The arrogant pride of man and his belief that he can somehow validate or invalidate Christ’s sacrifice never ceases to amaze me.

If you are an agnostic or a misinformed Christian, please try to understand this. The Gift God offers to all people is not cheap. It’s not cheap or incomplete in any way because it cost Him everything. The price of forgiveness for man’s sin was very high and paid through the death of a man whose existence is priceless, God’s only Son.The gift He offers every human being is Eternal Life by simply accepting through faith that His suffering and death is completely sufficient as full payment for your sin. Anything more than that is not Grace so please don’t refer to God’s gift of unmerited favor He calls Grace as CHEAP!

Dad, he’s peeing in the kitchen!

So me and the wife decide we need someone to manage our household affairs. After interviewing several choices, we vote as a family. My wife and kids win because they like this guy’s endearing personality. I go along because the  guy  promises to change things in a very positive way. He even gets an award for his recent performances. Well we’re all excited until one day, soon after voting him into our home, I caught him peeing in my kitchen. I brought this up to my wife and kids but they excused it saying that I was  just being unfair. They said it was only because I didn’t vote for him in the first place. Well this goes on and every so often I catch this guy peeing in my kitchen. I got so upset I told some of my neighbors and they just shrugged it off and said I was being too critical.

The next thing I find out is that instead of going through our established household channels, like asking my wife or my permission, he starts taking cash right from our “vacation money” drawer and gives it to our kids; as special gifts for favors! Well now I’m really pee o’d. I can’t take this anymore. But when I talk about it, display any angst or complain I’m laughed at and criticized.

Well let me ask YOU! If this was your house and this was happening to the family you loved and the home you respected. What would you do? Just sit in your arm-chair and let it happen or get off your duff and do something about it. Oh, you might say house managers are all the same no sense getting all excited . Things will eventually be ok. Well that might eventually be so, but what does that say about your self respect or for your house and your family for that matter! I dare say one could accuse you of being derelict as a husband and a father.

Not this American. You disrespect my house and my family you are out on your ears. So come November 6th 2012 what are you going to do. Sit at home in your apathetic loving arm-chair and continue to let the disrespect continue in OUR House or will you at least grow a little courage and say something. I for one am tired of the stink in the kitchen.

Please  don’t be in dereliction of your citizen’s duty, vote anti-socialist!

A Christian American’s Redress

So the question comes up all the time, “how can I be a Christian and resist the government’s authority?” Doesn’t Paul the apostle make it very clear that we are to submit to governing authorities? Romans 13:1-7. I will try never to take the word of God out of context. Paul was speaking very clearly about government authority in general and their purpose to restrain evil. I believe Paul (and of course the Holy Spirit) is directly referring to the Executive Branches of Government i.e.”he does not bear the sword in vain”. In the United States of America we have a constitution that describes the authority of the government and responsibility of its citizens.  Our government’s constitution preamble states:  We the People of the United States in order to form   a more perfect union…

Our Declaration of Independence states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government.

Americans have a history of “self governance.”  Abraham Lincoln acknowledged this in the Gettysburg Address. “…that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”.

We are a government “of the people”, “by the people” and “for the people” as well as a nation under God. So as citizens of this great country we have a Biblical responsibility to follow its laws that we, through our republican form of government created but also have a responsibility and a right to alter or abolish it as an unalienable right if it moves beyond its constitutional limits.

So how can I do this and remain within my scriptural boundaries? Well if we read the “Bill of Rights” we can read in 1st 9th and 10th amendments to the United States Constitution which allow us the freedom and responsibility of  demanding our rights from our government through redress. If our rights are being violated we have a Christian obligation to resist. Not only for our sakes but for the sake of our children and other Americans whose rights afforded them by our Constitution and laws are being violated.

So when a fellow Christian brother or sister rebukes your outspoken position using Romans saying it is God’s will to submit to our government, let them know you are, and then  that you expect them to get off their couch and stand up for our country as well…In the name of  our founding fathers, the constitution and your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
