The Media Research Center recently wrote a report showing how biased the mainstream media (MSM) has been over the past couple of months. The Media Research Center wrote the following article providing empirical proof of the bias that the non-political American public are exposed to daily.

“The NBC and CBS omissions are merely the latest in a long pattern of the liberal media minimizing or spinning acts of hate and violence perpetrated by liberals. Some recent examples include:

– In the month of July alone there were five separate violent attacks against pro-lifers with ZERO coverage from ABC, CBS, and NBC. Instead the networks devoted a combined 101 stories to the Tom Cruise – Katie Holmes divorce.

– ABC, NBC, and CBS ignored anti-Semitism during the LA and New York Occupy Wall Street protests in October.

– ABC and NBC ignored 75 arrests during an Occupy Wall Street demonstration in Oakland, CA that, according to CBSNews.com, included “reports of a sex assault and a severe beating and fire.”

– ABC, NBC, and CBS ignored three separate incidents of anti-Christian vandalism – one in California, one in Missouri, and one in Maryland – committed against Chick-fil-A”. See the entire story.

So my question is how many blogs, Facebook posts, talk radio spots and tweets will it take for the media to feel the pressure to get honest with its viewers?

It would be all fine if the MSM was understood by the average American to be no more credible than the rag you see in the grocery line.

But the media spends gazillions to twist and manipulate stories in order to spin it with a pro liberal left-wing and or negative conservative slant.  And then when they are challenged by the few conservative spokesmen and women out there they deny their bias while obfuscating  with their intellectual elitist tone. Don’t deny it.

Our country is in a jam and the main stream broadcast and cable  news are in the tank for the far left socialist progressive agenda. I’ve never seen boycotts of television programs have any effect. And since 4 very large corporations own all of the news media on TV they could easily subsidize their point of view regardless of  the number of  viewers. So what can anyone do to effect the hypnotic spin and pro socialist liberal mantra? I suggest we get vocal all my Christian American friends. Today when the talking heads begin to make your’s spin. Go to your computer or grab a pen and paper and write a letter to the publisher or producer and tell them you see their game and you want a more balanced and honest job done on the air. I believe if enough of us say something they may begin to think we are the majority of their listeners and that if we are not happy they will lose our viewership and their advertisers. Don’t let the liberal viewers give them the impression that they are the listening audience even if we know they are. That’s our only chance.
